Referral Information for Healthcare Professionals
-
Many patients share concerns about anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, or overwhelming stress during routine prenatal and postpartum visits. We provide specialized therapy that complements your medical care and helps patients receive support before symptoms become more severe.
-
You often develop close relationships with families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We're here to continue that support when emotional concerns arise, providing specialized therapy while respecting the trust you've already built with your clients.
-
Parents frequently see their child's pediatrician long before returning to their own healthcare providers. If you notice concerns about postpartum depression, anxiety, bonding, adjustment, or caregiver stress, we're here to help support the parent while strengthening the entire family system.
-
High-risk pregnancies can bring significant emotional stress, uncertainty, grief, and trauma. We work with patients experiencing pregnancy complications, prolonged hospitalizations, fetal diagnoses, pregnancy after loss, and medically complex pregnancies.
-
The emotional impact of infertility often extends far beyond treatment itself. We support individuals and couples navigating infertility, IVF, failed treatment cycles, donor conception, pregnancy after infertility, and difficult family-building decisions.
-
Doulas provide incredible emotional support before, during, and after birth. When clients need additional mental health care, we work alongside you to provide therapy while honoring the relationship and continuity of care you've established.
-
Feeding challenges, birth trauma, NICU experiences, and postpartum mood disorders are often closely connected. We help parents process the emotional aspects of feeding difficulties while supporting the important work you do.
-
Many therapists occasionally work with clients whose needs become highly specialized during pregnancy or postpartum. Whether your client needs treatment for perinatal OCD, birth trauma, infertility, or another reproductive mental health concern, we're happy to provide specialized care. If appropriate, we can also work collaboratively and transition the client back to your care once their perinatal needs have been addressed.
